SLJ Practice: Food

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today is blog post is about the Summer Learning Journey. I missed out on a task in lesson 2 so the task for lesson 2 is, that we had to make a DLO about some food about the country we picked in lesson 2 so I piked mexico. 

So you can see at the bottom there is some food, these food are from the country I picked called mexico. I had fun exploring the different food in mexico. I also learnt how to say there name of the food, it was so fun trying it out. I want you guys to search on google these type of foods please!!

So at in the DLO at the bottom is a fun fact, read it to find out more about the history about mexico. So yeah that was it for today, hope you guys liked my blog post and hope you guys have learnt something and yeah BYE!! 😏

My Container

W.A.L.T design and re create a food package that will reduce waste.

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today's blog post is about my topic learning. We are learning about technology and plastic, and the problem for our plastic is that it is not decomposable Because many company's make food packaging out of plastic. All of this plastic is ending up in our environment.   

And for that we are trying to come up with a plan to remake something not decomposeable. So I chose a container to remake into a decomposable container. We had to make a construction DLO about how to make my container and what I'm going to use. I have made this DLO at the bottom to show you what my container is going to be like, and I am really proud of myself how it turned up.

I have learnt that making something new takes a lot of effort, and to do that you need a plan. I have also learnt that things might not turn out like you hoped so, but always be proud of what you have got. SLJ Practice: Normal School Day

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today's blog post is about my Summer Learning Journey. And I'm up to lesson 3, and that task is to learn the different of Germany school and New Zealand school. And this was the normal day of school in Germany.

What I have learnt is that the time of the school in Germany is way different, because they start early and they start things at different times as us. And what they do in school is what middle schools would  do for there school. And yeah that is what I have learnt so now the other task for me to do was to make my own DLO about what wold I do on a normal school day.

So yeah that is my normal school day DLO, I had really fun making this and I can not wait for the next Sumner Learning Journey activity. Hope you like my blog post hope you have learnt something and yeah BYE!! 😊 

Fun Fact: other schools on the other side of the world start year one on the age of 9.

Volume and Capacity

W.A.L.T: explain what dose volume and capacity mean in our own words.

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today's blog post is about something you might not actually know. In my class for math we are learning about how to meager volume, but we have to know what volume is and capacity is before we are going to start measuring. So for me this was very inserting, and I got to know a lot more about space and objects.

So the teacher showed us a project, explaing what volume and capacity is. she used a big container and a bullion, she thought us that when you put the balloon inside of the container with the water the water rises. Because of that she is putting more volume into the container, which the water has no where to go but up to get more space. Oh and so the balloon and the water is the volume and the container is the capacity.

So that's my way of explaining to you what volume and capacity is, but if you want it easy ways there is a poster I made for you to read so it is easier to understand. So yeah that will be it for today, hope you guys like my blog post and hope you have learnt something and yeah... BYE!!😊

MY TEST!!! : )

Hi guys, and welcome back to my blog, and today is blog post is so exciting I cant even talk about it. So anyway in one of my other blog post, I have posted about how I am going to achieve in my test for this week. And now that we have finished our test, I moved up a level in both of my test I am so happy. But the writing test might take awhile for us to get the results, because the teachers have to cheek it there self, so they are trying there best to find the time to do it. But I'm like so happy!!

Here are some tips for what helped through out the test.

1. Give your self a wiggle if your getting bored.

2. Re-read the passage or story.

3. Try not to talk to other people.

  Anyway I have achieved my goal, but my I my other goal was to at least move up 2 staines. But I'm happy what with I have got, I can't wait for my writing results. I am pretty sure I have done pretty good with my writing, I just cant wait. So yeah that will be it for today hope you like my blog post, and please leave a positive comment below. Tie Dye Experience of the Summer

Hi guys and welcome back to my amazing blog, and today i'll be showing you the things I am doing for a Thursday. So yesterday the people in choir went to do some singing lessons. The people who were not going to choir stayed back in class and have tried to complete a task the teacher set for us.

We had to put on the slideshow some key words for us to search up on google, after that we had to research some website about tie dyeing and link it on to the slide. The were last thing we had to do was to answer the questions on the slide the teacher put on there.

Arnie The Armadillo

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today blog post is about Arnie the Armadillo. My class read a story about a armadillo stuck in the rain forest and he wants to go back home to his family. So there are about three problems he had through the adventure in the rain forest. In one of the problems The armadillo faced a busy road with cars driving through it, then my teacher gave us a task about the road problem.

1, the task was to make a drawing about some things we can help the armadillo get through the road.

2, make a text to write all of our interesting ideas.

I am very proud of my drawing and it looks amazing and I hope other people would be proud of me to. So yeah I hope you guys like this blog post hope you have learnt some things from my DLO, Bye!! Also dose my drawing look good.
