Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today's blog post is about a mind map for reading. This was for a reading task we done for Mrs Ts class, and we had to read a story. Then we had to put in the characters, settings, plot and some photos. 

I had really fun making this, and I have also enjoyed reading the story my teacher have gave me. I also miss using the mind map cause I have not used it like in 2 years, but i'm glad I have finished my work and I have got it complete.

Stop Motion

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today's blog post is about yesterdays learning from Mrs Ts class. And yesterday instead of doing math we have been doing stop motion, I can not wait for you guys to see this.

My team was me and Venice, we deiced to make our stop motion on paper, and stick it on the wall to take photos. I had really fun making this with her, it was a bit of a struggle but i'm surprised cause we got it done on that day WOW!!! This one say Its the little things.

MY STORY

W.A.L.T: make a interesting story.

Hi guys and welcome back to my, and today's blog post is about some of my writing I have done for my writing class. I really like my writing for my blog post, for my goal of writing is synonyms witch mean strong good adjectives.

This is about a patch of meerkat, trying to get there most amazing beautiful fruit from this ugly mean BIG bird. I like this story I have made and its probably my favorite, because it has a lot of interesting words!! I like the video I got it from cause it is so cute, and then at the end its so funny. But no spoiler!!

Question: Do you think I have done good in my writing??

It was a soothing dark dawn while the stars disappear through the black sky, the sun arise and emerges out from the ground and into the sky throughout dawn upon the desert savanna land so wide and dry in africa. Adorable animals on land wake up, hoping for a fresh morning to a good start of the day.

The red mercates wake up early in the morning in there shaggy nest under the ground, as they wake up altogether they do the same drill everyday. They wake up every morning to smell the fresh air outside of there holes, before doing that the next thing they do is to see if there are any predators so they can actually day routine.

If it's all clear they go outside to there precios elegant element, which is a fruit. One by one every fur ball climbs up into the tree creating a line to wait for there turn to smell the aesthetic fruit. The fruit is so attractive to them they also stare at it like there possessed  just by looking at it and smelling the beautiful smell from the fruit.

There still staring at the fruit, when suddenly they see a humongous vultur. His Burnt body comes closer to land, and his wings stretch out catching the earth beneath him. He lands on the poor thin branch, almost breaking it because of the vulture weight.

Beauty, Beast and the Doors

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today's blog post is about one of my writings. And today's writing is something I would actually never write about, the title of my story is Beauty, Beast and the Doors. We had to look at a photo and write a story about, the photo we looked at was six doors.

We had to write a story for each door or just write a story for one of them, I had so many creative ideas but I had to pick beauty and the best. This story takes part in the royal family, it talks about kindness and beauty, and also how to take part of being royal.🥀

Beauty, Beast and the Doors

Once upon a time a cruel man lived the world, he scrolls through every man trying to
depressed everyone. One day he opened the gates of his palace, sending letters to every
woman saying that there will be a ball tomorrow night. The next day this man falling in
love with ever girl in site, making the men of those women anger. But one women in
site seemed very suspicious to the man, the women tried to let the man accept for who
she is a women with dirty clothing.

But the man didn’t accept for who she was, instead he sent her out for looking
so dreadful ugly. So the women said… SO BE IT!!! The petals of her flower
on her ear magically flew around the man, In 3 2 1 he disappeared.

The man was so scared his heart was pounding, he was in a plain room all white.
He turned around where he faced six door in the room, a voice spoke to the man.
She said you will open one door that will lead you to your freedom, if you don't
choose anything you will turn into a BEAST. He choose one carefully he opened
that door……

In that door was his freedom, He shouted yay yay!! But once that door closed…. AHHHHHH he screamed in that door you could here aw aw ooh!!

Victoria Falls

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today's blog post is about a task I wanted to do so I could share out this DLO i done for you guys. So I was starting a conversation with my cyber smart teacher on my blog, and she told be about this water fall and I wanted to do a DLO about it.

So this DLO is about Victoria falls, it looked very pretty in the photo and it looks just like Niagara Falls I was doing a blog post on. So I had so much fun finding fact about this water fall, and so much fun making my DLO. So please read my small fact DLO about Victoria falls.

Armistice Day - Anzac

I am learning to make connections to our prior knowledge, books we have already read and things that happen in the real world.

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today's blog post is another armistice day blog post. So this time I will be showing you a DLO about armistice day, with a lot of cool fact that come with the DLO. I cant wait to tell you all about it, i'm so glad to share this with you.

So I made this DLO to let people know about armistice day because, when my teacher asked us dose anyone know about armistice day, and nobody knew. So I probably think that you don't know much about this armistice day, so this is why I have made the DLO. To give you a hint it is related to Anzac day.

SLJ Practice: Niagara Falls

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today's blog post is about the Summer Learning Journey practice Lesson 5, I am so excited and a bit sad knowing the lesson five is my last lesson. But there is so many more adventures I am still going to go on, so don't get your hopes down yet. 

Anyway for today my task was to chose a photo that Emma (summer learning journey teacher) put up for us and there was three, and so I chose this photo from Canada and it was a water full called Niagara Falls, one of the largest water full in the world.

So then we had to find two fact about it and link the facts to the site I found them from, but I had to put them in my own words. The reason why I chose this because the photo of the water full was beautiful, and It looked amazing. So I wish to visit there some day.

Armistice day

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today's blog post is about my learning for reading. For reading we are working on some fact about the Armistice day, and we have got a lot of fact for you guys that we would like to share. But for now we are going to keep it simple, so we are only going to share out 3 fact that stand out for us.

But before we start I will be telling you want actually we have been doing since last week. We had a table and we had to three types of site to cheek out, and to find 3 fact that stand out for us and but it into our table. then we had to add our question, how we felt about the text and what we think the writer was try to tell us. so that was for our learning in reading, so lets get on with the facts.

1. They use bells from churches and horns from ships to celebrate armistice day.

2. Life in New Zealand had a huge impact, without people going to war then life would not be as good as now days.

3. What dose Armistice day mean well Armistice mean the treaty they signed to end the war.

SLJ Practice: Comments

SUMMER LEARNING JOURNEY

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today's blog post is about the Summer Learning Journey. So for lesson 4 this task is to share out one comment you did to a class mate, one comment to a friend in the Hornby Cluster and one from a joiners class. So why I don't have a comment to a joiners class is because I can't get assess to comment on to there blog.

But at least now I have two comments, one from a class mate and one from the Hornby Cluster. I had fun making these comments and I had fun doing this task, I can not wait for lesson 5 and hope to see a hole new task ahead of me. For now I am having fun doing the Summer Learning journey cause I get to learn more stuff about our interment.😊

To give you a tip about commenting is to always be positive thought your comment, to make them feel your kindness. Try to be thoughtful for example, pretend someones blog post was about a park you could say oh that reminds me of this other park. Try to be helpful by giving them advise on what they could do next time and what the should work on but be positive through out this part you don't wanna insult there work do you.😘

SLJ Practice: TV Series

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today's blog post is about the Summer Learning Journey. And now I am on lesson 4 and my first task for lesson for is to pick one New Zealand show or program to talk about, and to say what we like and what we don't like in this program. My choice for the program was Survivor New Zealand.

If you can't read it then I will tell you about this program.

 This program has 2 teams each player is a stranger, they play against each other whichever team loses they sent the weakest player in the game home, to make the team stronger. Please watch this program and you will learn the good and bad about friendship.

So yeah that was my task for lesson 4. Hope you guys liked my DLO hope you have learnt something from this and yeah thank you BYE!!😊

Fun Fact: these players live on a island with barley any food to survive with.

So there was also another task to this, and It linked into the Zealand program task. There was videos of the country I chose to visit, so I had to watch the mexico program and I was a bit confused, the name of the show was maria belen I think. So after watching this we had to say what we liked about it what we did not like about it and give it 5 or for stars to rate it.

So the thing is, is that I could not understand it, but I could see that I little cheeky girl was being nasty to a adult man. I could also see that they were making some kind of protect for the teacher. But that was all I could see so For me I would give it 3 stars. The reason why I chose 3 because I did not like how there was not that much English at all but what I like is that it's really funny.

So yeah that was the second task of lesson 4 for the Summer learning journey, and now I will finally end this post. Bye guys have a good day !!

SLJ Practice: Sports

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today's blog post is about the Summer Learning Journey. My next task for lesson 3, is to make a blog post of my favorite sport and who is my idol in that sport. We had to say why my idol was her or him and why you like the sport, we also had to take a video of myself playing the sport but I couldn't so there is a gif photo so that you guys know what shot put is. 

Oh yeah I chose shot put, because I love it so much and the measurement for who long I threw was 7.66m. So for my Idol I pikes someone who is amazing at shot put, who is nice a caring and someone who is brave and fears.... Valerie Adams!!! She is my idol cause she is like the best AHHH!😆

SLJ Practice: Food

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today is blog post is about the Summer Learning Journey. I missed out on a task in lesson 2 so the task for lesson 2 is, that we had to make a DLO about some food about the country we picked in lesson 2 so I piked mexico. 

So you can see at the bottom there is some food, these food are from the country I picked called mexico. I had fun exploring the different food in mexico. I also learnt how to say there name of the food, it was so fun trying it out. I want you guys to search on google these type of foods please!!

My Container

W.A.L.T design and re create a food package that will reduce waste.

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today's blog post is about my topic learning. We are learning about technology and plastic, and the problem for our plastic is that it is not decomposable Because many company's make food packaging out of plastic. All of this plastic is ending up in our environment.   

And for that we are trying to come up with a plan to remake something not decomposeable. So I chose a container to remake into a decomposable container. We had to make a construction DLO about how to make my container and what I'm going to use. I have made this DLO at the bottom to show you what my container is going to be like, and I am really proud of myself how it turned up.

I have learnt that making something new takes a lot of effort, and to do that you need a plan. I have also learnt that things might not turn out like you hoped so, but always be proud of what you have got. SLJ Practice: Normal School Day

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today's blog post is about my Summer Learning Journey. And I'm up to lesson 3, and that task is to learn the different of Germany school and New Zealand school. And this was the normal day of school in Germany.

What I have learnt is that the time of the school in Germany is way different, because they start early and they start things at different times as us. And what they do in school is what middle schools would  do for there school. And yeah that is what I have learnt so now the other task for me to do was to make my own DLO about what wold I do on a normal school day.

So yeah that is my normal school day DLO, I had really fun making this and I can not wait for the next Sumner Learning Journey activity. Hope you like my blog post hope you have learnt something and yeah BYE!! 😊

Volume and Capacity

W.A.L.T: explain what dose volume and capacity mean in our own words.

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today's blog post is about something you might not actually know. In my class for math we are learning about how to meager volume, but we have to know what volume is and capacity is before we are going to start measuring. So for me this was very inserting, and I got to know a lot more about space and objects.

So the teacher showed us a project, explaing what volume and capacity is. she used a big container and a bullion, she thought us that when you put the balloon inside of the container with the water the water rises. Because of that she is putting more volume into the container, which the water has no where to go but up to get more space. Oh and so the balloon and the water is the volume and the container is the capacity.

So that's my way of explaining to you what volume and capacity is, but if you want it easy ways there is a poster I made for you to read so it is easier to understand. So yeah that will be it for today, hope you guys like my blog post and hope you have learnt something and yeah... BYE!!😊

MY TEST!!! : )

Hi guys, and welcome back to my blog, and today is blog post is so exciting I cant even talk about it. So anyway in one of my other blog post, I have posted about how I am going to achieve in my test for this week. And now that we have finished our test, I moved up a level in both of my test I am so happy. But the writing test might take awhile for us to get the results, because the teachers have to cheek it there self, so they are trying there best to find the time to do it. But I'm like so happy!!

Here are some tips for what helped through out the test.

1. Give your self a wiggle if your getting bored.

2. Re-read the passage or story.

3. Try not to talk to other people.

  Anyway I have achieved my goal, but my I my other goal was to at least move up 2 staines. But I'm happy what with I have got, I can't wait for my writing results. I am pretty sure I have done pretty good with my writing, I just cant wait. So yeah that will be it for today hope you like my blog post, and please leave a positive comment below. Tie Dye Experience of the Summer

Hi guys and welcome back to my amazing blog, and today i'll be showing you the things I am doing for a Thursday. So yesterday the people in choir went to do some singing lessons. The people who were not going to choir stayed back in class and have tried to complete a task the teacher set for us.

We had to put on the slideshow some key words for us to search up on google, after that we had to research some website about tie dyeing and link it on to the slide. The were last thing we had to do was to answer the questions on the slide the teacher put on there.

Arnie The Armadillo

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog, and today blog post is about Arnie the Armadillo. My class read a story about a armadillo stuck in the rain forest and he wants to go back home to his family. So there are about three problems he had through the adventure in the rain forest. In one of the problems The armadillo faced a busy road with cars driving through it, then my teacher gave us a task about the road problem.

1, the task was to make a drawing about some things we can help the armadillo get through the road.

2, make a text to write all of our interesting ideas.
